  • The combining power of an element, esp. as measured by the number of hydrogen atoms it can displace or combine with
  • personalities. The term is used to denote the borrowing of the personalities of others. Valences are substitutes for self taken on after the fact of lost confidence in self. Preclears “in their father’s valence” are acting as though they were their father.

The 2009 Import and Export Market for Textile Curtains, Drapes, Interior Blinds, Roller Shades, and Bed Valences in Tanzania
The 2009 Import and Export Market for Textile Curtains, Drapes, Interior Blinds, Roller Shades, and Bed Valences in Tanzania
On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences in Tanzania face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences to Tanzania? How important is Tanzania compared to others in terms of the entire global and regional market? How much do the imports of textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences vary from one country of origin to another in Tanzania? On the supply side, Tanzania also exports textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences. Which countries receive the most exports from Tanzania? How are these exports concentrated across buyers? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences in Tanzania. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences for those countries serving Tanzania via exports, or supplying from Tanzania via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models.

In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where Tanzania fits into the world market for imported and exported textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for Tanzania in particular, is estimated using a model which aggregates across over 150 key country markets and projects these to the current year. From there, each country represents a percent of the world market. This market is served from a number of competitive countries of origin. Based on both demand- and supply-side dynamics, market shares by country of origin are then calculated across each country market destination. These shares lead to a volume of import and export values for each country and are aggregated to regional and world totals. In doing so, we are able to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of both the value of each market and the share that Tanzania is likely to receive this year. From these figures, rankings are calculated to allow managers to prioritize Tanzania compared to other major country markets. In this way, all the figures provided in this report are forecasts that can be combined with internal information sources for strategic planning purposes.

BOYCOTT stylos REYNOLDS. Paper-mate, Sharpie, Liquid Paper, Holson, Irwin, Rubbermaid, Burnes, StainShield, LouverDrape, Bulldog, Eberhard Faber, AirBake, Graco, Century, Levolor, Graco, Ezpaintr, Vise-Grip, BernzOmatic, Berol, TakeAlong, Del Mar, Kirsh, Uni-ball, Sanford, Rotring, Panodia, Gardina, Spur, Intercraft, Regal, Mirro, Carex, Acrimo, Swish, Albadecor, Quick-Grip, Eldon, Blue Ice, Cosmolab, Nenplas, Amerock, Calphalon, Hanson Drape, Royal Diamond, Reynolds, Rolodex, Parker, Roger, System Works, Goody, Roughneck, Waterman. Matt's Room
One of the very first projects when we moved in was to put some sort of window covering in the "sun room" (also known as my computer room).I picked out some great fabric from Ikea, and Michelle made the curtains. At the same time, I had picked out the blue fabric for the valances, but we got busy and never made them. This Christmas (while I was skiing) Michelle spent a day making valences. I really like the combination, although Michelle isn't totally sold on the look...
