pears and quince paste pudding



1  1/2 cup of fresh breadcrumbs

3/4 caster sugar

1 cup of quince paste in slices (or jam)

6 boiled pears in slices

4 tablespoon of melted butter

vanilla cream to serve


Preheat oven to 180 ° c  buttered  a baking pan.

Spread in the bottom of the pan  part of the breadcrumbs, half the icing sugar, then place the slices of quince paste and finally the pears in slices.

Then sprinkle with two tablespoons of melted butter.

Top with remaining bread crumbs, sprinkle with remaining sugar and melted butter.

Bake at  oven 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.

Serve with cream or vanilla ice cream.
