Ingredients (2 or 3 mini loaves)
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 1 /2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup whole milk
4 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
3 tablespoons of poppy seeds
zest of two oranges
plus 2 tablespoon of orange fresh juice
1 cup confectioners sugar
Preheat oven at 190°c.
In a large bowl combine flour baking powder and salt.
In a medium bowl lightly beat together eggs and milk.
Pour milk texture and melted butter into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Add granulated sugar, poppy seeds and orange zest. Mix well and transfer to 3 or 4 nonstick mini loaf pans.
Bake until a skewer tests clean when inserted into the center, 30 to 45 minutes.
Remove loaves from pans and let cool on a wire rack.
In a small bowl mix juice and confectioners' sugar until smooth.
Spoon evenly over tops loaves.
