My name is Xuefeng GAO, currently a postdoctoral fellow at Institute Pasteur, ParisI am a computer scientist turned computational biologist, who is interested in computational models of cancer evolution, stem cells and immune system. My research aims to integrate mathematical, computational, biological and clinical sciences to thoroughly investigate biological systems (including cancer and immune system). My expertise lies in transforming experimental/clinical data (omics data, cellular characteristics and host environmental signals) into a useful readout of biology (e.g., target genes and potential mechanisms that drive tumor recurrence) via developing multiscale models.
