Who we are
Campus Grow is a registered student organization that encourages and educates children, faculty, students, and community members on the principles of organic gardening practices and local food access. Our organization is dedicated to building sustainable food systems on Central Michigan University's campus and in Mid-Michigan communities. We work in partnership with community organizations promoting access to healthy foods, community agricultural methods, and gardening education. CG consists of two student-managed gardens on CMU's campus, totaling approximately 30,000 ft² in size. We provide land, water, seeds, and garden tools to over fifty plot renters for a very small fee, and in exchange we till and prepare the soil for planting.
