Review of Expectations

  1. For first time user groups/leaders please review the information on the camps website first to obtain a general overview of the camp prior to booking the camp. 
  2. If your group is booking the camp for the first time I would encourage that you book a date with me for an on site tour so that you will be familiar with the camp outlay, safety policies and propane operations. As well if you are a new leader, a tour would also apply. The tour will also confirm wether the camp can meet your needs for the program that you will be running.
  3. Please be aware that you are in a Provincial Conservation Area and there are some rules you have to abide by.
  4. It is the responsibility of the contact person who books the camp to make arrangements to pick up the keys from my residence and return the keys to my residence with the appropriate paperwork on the closing day of camp. Weekend use, return keys on Sunday, weekday use return keys on weekday of closing. There is a mailbox located at the back of my front step labeled "Camp Sagonaska" for key pickup if I am not home and key/paperwork/payment drop off as well  if no one is home.
  5. Payment to be made by "CHEQUE ONLY" please, made payable to "SCOUTS CANADA". This creates a paper trail for end of year audits. If you require an invoice, an invoice will be issued upon request.
  6. If for any reason you have lost the keys and/or padlocks, you will be charged to replace the keys/padlocks lost.
  7. While at the camp any issues or emergencies come up that you are unable to handle, please call me.
  8. These expectations to some may seem unnecessary, but they are required to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable camping experience at "Camp Sagonaska".
