Camp Sites Description and Rates

The Rental Cost is composed of two (2) components: 1) the Site Rental cost as show below in table 1, and 2) a per person charge of $3 per person. Please note the rental rate to third (3rd) party organization is 1.5 times the rate for Scouting groups.
Table 1 provides a description of the Camp's Camp Sites and the Cabin, along with the rental rate. And table 2 provides the rental rate for Area or Council Event rentals.

All Camp

Selecting the ‘All Camp’ secures all 28 acres of the camp for your own use during the rental period. The camp potentially could hold up to 568 persons based on the max capacity all the sites.

To rent the entire camp you will need to negotiate the rate with the Camp Booking Officer as there are numerous things that we need to consider.

       Field (North)

Camping in the North side of the field is at the back of the field on the side closest to the road. The Area can potentially hold up to 35 tents*. Fire permitted in the field area but please remove and replace sod.

Camping in the South side of the field is at the back of the field on the side closest to the ravine. The Area can potentially hold up to 35 tents*. Fire permitted on the field area but please remove and replace sod.

 Cabin

 The cabin has a maximum capacity of 32. The cabin has 1) propane lanterns; 2) Kitchen with propane stove/oven; 3) two 10’ picnic tables, and 4) 19 beds, plus 3 additional beds stored in wood shed. Note: an additional 10 persons could sleep on the floor. Parking: Winter – Parking is in the field; Spring to Fall parking is beside the Wood shed.

       Swallows Roost

Located at the end of the ravine on the water front, furthest away. This site can hold 3-4 tents plus a kitchenette. It includes one picnic table. Parking is in the Field Area. Site is approx. xx meters from parking   area.

       Eagle 75

This site is located on the hill to the west of the field and on the right hand side of the road. This site can hold 5–8 tents plus a kitchenette. It includes one picnic table. Parking is in the Field Area. Site is approx. 200 meters from field/parking area. One vehicle or trailer can be park on side of road. Approx. 70 meters from entrance to site.

       Boulder Face

This site is located on the hill to the west of the field and on the left hand side of the road. This site can hold 6–8 tents plus a kitchenette. It includes one picnic table. Site is approx. 300 meters from field/parking area. Parking onsite for trailer and 2 vehicles. Additional parking in the Field Area.

       TeePee

This site is located on the hill to the west of the field, at the end of the road. You will need to hike 50 meters to the site from the road. This site can hold 3–6 tents plus a kitchenette. It includes one picnic table. Additional parking is in the Field Area. Site is approx. 500 meters from field/parking area. One vehicle or trailer can be park on side of road. Approx. 70 meters from entrance to site.

D

Wilderness

This site is located across the road from the main entrance gate. This area is intended for wilderness and survival camping (natural shelters). There is a separate parking area located right in the Wilderness Area, opposite the main gate. No picnic tables available at this time.

 

 

 

Lumber Jack Parking Lot

(P1, P2, P3, P4)

The Lumber Jack is designed as a combination Parking and Base Camp Site. As a Parking site it can accommodate up to approximately 10 vehicles carefully.

Wilderness Base Camp Site A (West)

Located to the west of the Lumber Jack Parking area this area has been cleared and can hold approximately three (3) to six (4) four-person tents, and a kitchenet. There is a location for a camp fire.
