Campo Wins San Ramon Tournament, Sweeps Tournament Play

Campo beat SRV on SRV's home court 25-23, 25-21 to win the San Ramon tournament and complete this years tournament play with a sweep, taking 1st in all three of their tournaments. Campo has gone undefeated in tournament match play compiling a 17-0 record to finish this years tournaments. The win did not come easy as Campo had to go through a San Ramon team that was playing tough on their home court twice to get the 1st place, once in pool play and again in the finals. In the first finals set San Ramon took a mid game lead and held it late in the set with Campo coming on strong in the end to take a 25-23 win. The second set was similar with San Ramon taking a big lead and Campo then playing very strong volleyball  to turn it around on a very determined San Ramon team to win the match 25-21. Congratulations again girls.

    Campo Wins Inaugural JV Invitational

Campo and Acalanes came through a tough field of high school teams to meet each other in the gold bracket finals on Campo's center court and play for the Championship Belt. Both teams were excited and ready after strong semi final victories, Campo over Head-Royce and Acalanes over St. Joseph ND. Campo won the match 25-15, 25-16 with a strong back row defense led by tournament MVP libero Sarah Carrasco, and power hitting across the entire front line to keep the trophy at home. Way to go girls.
