Camp Jonathan is a Christian gathering and retreat centre 
owned and managed by the Presbyterian Church.
Camp Jonathan is a ministry primarily to the Church and Christian community.
We are not a profit generating business or a holiday resort.

Located in the tranquil Natal midlands near Eston within easy reach of the eThekwini metropolis 
and Pietermaritzburg by newly re-tarred road and no pot holes. Easy to find, no gravel roads.

The centre offers very comfortable, affordable accommodation and tasty meals with decent meat portions 
at a bargain price of an average R400 for bed,breakfast and lunch and supper. T&C's apply.
We do all the catering allowing you to enjoy your time away and focus on the purpose 
of your Church camp / retreat, Church youth camp, Christian workshop or Christian orientated training. 
Large lawns and shady trees. Spacious smart halls.
All facilities on one level, no stairways. Bathrooms are all indoors near rooms. 
Hot water on all showers and no outside ablution blocks

Please note that Camp Jonathan is under offer for sale. In the meantime, 
the managing couple is appointed on ad hoc basis month by month, part time. They no longer live at Camp Jonathan
but only come to Camp Jonathan when there are guests. The new owners will honour all bookings after transfer.

and specify the time so that a staff member can show you around.

Without the required information we cannot give an accurate quotation or confirm a booking. 
If a booking queries are not promptly confirmed and deposit paid you may lose your requested dates.

Right of admission reserved. No refunds if groups or individuals have to leave before the last meal booked.

Good value at an average cost R400 per person per night including supper, breakfast and lunch 
for units Bushbuck, Oribi and Duiker. (and Fish Eagle if more than 2 persons share the room. 
Each of the 4 rooms in Fish Eagle has it's own bathroom)

At a slightly higher cost units "Sunbird", "Fish Eagle" and soon the new unit 7 named "Ibis"
offer a little more per person per night including supper, breakfast and lunch. 
Sharing 2 persons per room, each room with its own bathroom & shower.

Please note: No self catering facility available
No Smoking, No Alcohol, No outside fires, No littering

Please remember to bring a torch or battery operated lantern in case of power failure
Note that candles are dangerous and a fire risk that limits our insurance cover
