My name is Bianca Abrams.  I am excited and honored to be the Counselor at Campbell Elementary.  I am a Certified School Counselor and I bring 8 years of primary and secondary school counseling experience to Campbell.   I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services.

Every day I look forward to seeing the bright smiles and adorable faces of children as they enter the school building. Because working with children is truly my passion, I view my job as a privilege, and I absolutely love working as an elementary school counselor.

The mission of Campbell Elementary Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive, developmental program for all students while addressing academic, career, and social/personal needs.   In addition, I have specified counseling goals and adhere to developmental competencies for all students in grades K-5.  I am a resource and support for the teachers in our school.

Campbell students' in grades K-5 receive monthly classroom guidance every 4-6 weeks. I offer small group support in the following areas:  Academics, Friendship Skills, Study Skills, Grief and Loss, and Resiliency.  Individual support is available when needed.   In addition, I offer leadership opportunities such as: Student Council, Peer Leaders and much more.

The primary goal of the counseling department is to remove barriers so student can experience academic success.  The counseling department plays a pivotal role in making sure our students are empowered, responsible, resilient and successful.  Parent and community involvement is always appreciated.

Together, we can have a counseling program that supports learning, leading, and succeeding.
