Oh the Places I'll Go

While I've been to many places, there is still so much I want to see and experience.  Below is my list of where I want to go while living full-time in an RV.  I know it's a long list, but I am excited to re-visit and live in many of our amazing states in the USA.
  • Alabama: Mobile (family visits)
  • Arizona: Grand Canyon and Petrified Forest/Painted Desert
  • California: Los Angeles (college friend visit), Yosemite, Sierra Mountains, Lake Tahoe, Napa and the Redwood Forests
  • Colorado: Durango
  • Connecticut: Litchfield (genealogy)
  • Florida: (my new domicile for annual medical, dental, auto needs, voting, etc.)
  • Georgia: Savannah (family visits)
  • Idaho: Payette National Forest
  • Louisiana: New Orleans and Lake Charles areas
  • Mississippi: (passing through)
  • Montana: Yellowstone
  • Nevada: Las Vegas
  • New Mexico: Albuquerque (balloons), White Sands
  • New York: Finger Lakes, Adirondack Mountains
  • Ohio: eastern half (family visits)
  • Ontario, Canada (Algonquin Park is always a family favorite)
  • Oregon: Coastal Beaches (will be a first trip)
  • Pennsylvania (family visits)
  • Quebec: Quebec City, Montreal
  • South Carolina: Fort Mills and Charleston (family visits)
  • South Dakota: Sioux Falls
  • Texas: Big Bend National Park, Houston, Austin, San Antonio (family visits)
  • Vermont: Lake Champlain (fall colors)
  • Washington (State): (friend visit)
  • West Virginia (love the mountains)
  • Wyoming: Grand Tetons National Park (hiking, sightseeing including Yellowstone)

I am in the earliest stages of planning a dream trip around North America. As you can see in my tentative planning sheet below, even at a pretty quick pace, it will take a full year and then some to finish. As a matter of fact, it feels a little fast to me since I will need to balance working and playing but I want to do this trip in one year and then begin planning the next one that will be a smaller, slower loop in to the states in the middle of United States.

In reality, other than a few key places that are hard to get into unless I make reservations, I want to keep my options open and won't likely make reservations. The planning just helped me to see what I might have to budget for a big North America loop trip.
