Hawk Mountain -03
Hawk Mountain -03
* This young man was having an awful time looking UP into the sky to see the birds * It was such a beautiful day that staying indoors just didn't seem right. Neighbor's Gene and Rita suggested we join them for a visit to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary so we grabbed our camera gear and were off. This was an October Sunday so, as expected, it was pretty crowded. We hiked the trail and stopped at each overlook and, like everyone else, searched the sky for birds. We could see them but any hope of photographing them was out of the question.... we simply do not have the kind of equipment needed for the job. Instead of photographing birds we decided to photograph people in the process of looking at them. A couple images to give the viewer a glimpse at the trails were also captured.
