Modern Motel 6 Review
Modern Motel 6 Review
San Antonio Motel 6 - Very modern! Ikea like bed with two attached end tables. Matress was nice, firm, but with a slight bounce. The blanket was not thick at all. Almost as flat as the sheet! Pillows were ok. Laminate floors looked good, like bamboo flooring. Im sure people would take them, but a rug would have been nice. Sitting area was great for eating our Mc Donald's breakfast, and convinent for putting on my make up while seated in front of the mirror. There is an outlet just under it, and a light above it. A chair would have been useful in the far corner by the door, that area was quite large and bare, I moved the luggage cart from the bathroom to over there so it would fill space. Bathroom had a bowl sink which was cool and a unique bright yellow towel holder. the towels were held in little circle cubby holes. No extras to the shower/tub area. No art on the walls at all. Lighting was harsh, especially against the orange wall, but we got use to it. The flat screen TV was mounted on the wall in a thin black frame which jutted out 2 - 3 inches from the wall. No extras, just the TV and remote. No blow dryers in rooms or irons. The front desk lets you use irons but they only have like 4 and its first come first serve. All in all I enjoyed this room very much. It seemed much cleaner that others. Maybe because of the lack of carpet I dont know. I would choose to stay at a Motel 6 again :)
Day 67 - The Camera Lies
Day 67 - The Camera Lies
Honest, it does, the EXIF data will show that to all and sundry. I was lost today, had a couple of ideas but they wouldn't work out how I wanted. In the end I took a shot of my camera with my camera phone as it sat on the tripod, hooked up to a remote control and via USB to my laptop. For some shots I like to shoot this way because the camera syncs automatically and I can review the shot on the big screen. Anyway, this was not what was intended at the beginning, but I like it either way.

AT&T Services
High-speed data connectivity via AT&T's 3G mobile broadband data network: The dual-band 850/1900 MHz 3G network provides up to 3.6/7.2 Mbps of download speed, making it possible to enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless multimedia services, and it gives you the advantage of offering simultaneous voice and data services.
In areas where the 3G network is not available, you'll continue to receive service on the AT&T EDGE network, which offers availability in more than 13,000 US cities and along some 40,000 miles of major highways. Providing average data speeds between 75-135Kbps, it's fast enough to support a wide range of advanced data services, including full picture and video messaging, high-speed color Internet access, and email on the go.

The full-featured, premium AT&T Navigator GPS navigation application includes audible turn-by-turn directions, real-time traffic updates and re-routing options, and 3D moving maps (additional charges applicable). AT&T's Video Share service enables you to send a live, one-way video stream to another compatible phone during a standard voice call. The service also allows you to switch the direction of the video stream during the same phone call. (Customers must be in an area served by the company's 3G network and have a Video Share-enabled phone.) While using Video Share with family and friends is a fun way to communicate, it's also very useful for business. For example, a majority of users in the architecture, engineering and construction industries rated the ability to share live video through Video Share highly, according to research commissioned by AT&T. Video Share lets you see progress on a job site or review the day's work without having to drive from an office or other site to do so.
