Associate members are expected to be experienced singers and capable sight-readers,
and as such make a valuable contribution to CCS. They should attend combined rehearsals.
They are welcome to attend weekly rehearsals if they so wish. A short initial audition
The Singers meet every Tuesday evening from 19.30 to 21.30 in the Music Room of
Bottisham Village College. Besides learning the main work for CCS, the group enjoys
informal singing of other music, especially at Christmas.
The Comberton choir meets on Monday evenings from 19.30 to 21.30 during term times

The New Melbourn Singers was originally formed in the village of Melbourn as a
male voice choir during the coprolite boom in the 1830's. Ladies joining them in
the 1860's. The old minute book gives details of their many concerts, mainly for
