The next concert

Apparently, Henry Neill (baritone) cannot sing at the concert, it now transpires, but a good replacement has been found. Quentin Hayes, a well known baritone will be the replacement.

Andrew Parnell moved on summer 2015 after 10 years as our very effective conductor. The photo above was at his last concert with CCS.
We welcomed our new conductor Richard Laing who started in the 2015-16 season.
The Society uniquely comprises a number of smaller choirs that meet on a weekly basis for rehearsal under the guidance of a professional musician. These choirs join together with "Associate Members" for combined rehearsals with the Principal Conductor on several Saturdays throughout the season.

The 2016 CCS concert was a performance of Handel's Dettingen Te Deum and Mozart's Requiem at the Great Hall, Leys School, Fen Causeway, Cambridge, CB2 7AD on April 2nd 2016 at 7.30pm. It was enjoyed by the many who attended.

67 Long Road
The May 31st 2014 concert was at St John's College Chapel, Cambridge . The pieces were Rutter's Magnificat, Parnell's Dew of Heaven and Boellmann's Suite Gothique (for organ) played by Jonathan Lilley.
The March 22nd 2014 concert was at West Rd Concert Hall Cambridge when the CCS choir performed Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem (German Requiem) Opus 45.
