Every year around this time, I receive a Prayer Rug from some church. It is a piece of paper with a picture of Jesus on it, and instructs you to look into Jesus' eyes and they will open, blessing you with all sorts of wonders. You are supposed to return it, along with a cash contribution to insure you are properly blessed. This year must have been tough financially. Instead of the rug, I received a paper "Bible Handkerchief" which will be used to bless me. I'm supposed to write my needs on it and mail it back to the church, along with my donation. Also, there is a checklist and I simply have to check off what I want to receive, from a new car to a home to "this amount of money: __________." AFTER SUNSET the day after the handkerchief is returned to the church, I may open a "sealed prophecy." If I do not return the handkerchief, the "sacred prophecy must be destroyed." Of course I cheated and opened the prophecy. First it tells me not to turn to a psychic. Then it is written as if God was talking to me, with totally generic "advice" and predictions.
