Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Rockford University. I am a passionate and engaged teacher who cares personally for student outcomes. I completed my dissertation in August of 2013 and am preparing parts of it for submission for publication. While my research has been dominated by an investigation of Peer Effects, I have wide ranging research interests including Public Finance, Experimental Economics, and many Applied Microeconomics topics including education policy. Beyond research, I have had the chance to teach a wide range of economics courses at the University level and at nearby community colleges. The experience has been highly rewarding and I look forward to a career educating and passing along my passion for economics.
