Parent General Information
We are a small team, but we have wonderful and talented swimmers. It is our hope that being a part of Caldwell Swim Club (CSC) is a rewarding and fun experience for you and your swimmer.  Your child has an opportunity to learn how to swim competitively, develop personal goals and overcome challenges as they meet those goals.  They will also have the opportunity to form friendships with fellow swimmers on the team and competitors from other teams.

CSC is a private, Idaho non-profit organization that is managed by parent volunteers and funded by monthly dues and fundraisers.  Our main fundraisers every year include hosting various swim meets and an Aquathon. We understand that families are busy, but in order for our swimmers to have this positive experience and to keep our team operational, we require volunteer time from each family. If you have any questions, please ask a board member or any veteran parent and they can help you figure it all out!

As a parent, you are expected to:
  • Volunteer at our home meets in February and April;
  • Participate in fundraising activities, such as heat sheet ad sales, donating money/items to our meet concession sales, and our annual Aquathon;
  • Volunteer at College of Idaho Swim Team home meets and High School Swimming meets - other fundraising events for our team;
  • Be available to help time at any meet in which your swimmer participates;
  • Consider investing in the team by serving a term on the Board of Directors, and/or training to be an official for the team;
  • Support your swimmer as only a parent can, but let the coaches be the ones to coach them.

When purchasing swim team apparel and equipment, please consider doing so through our online team store.  You will find swimsuits and other apparel with our colors and logo printed on them for very reasonable prices. Although team specific items are on our store, you can visit the entire Swim Outlet website from there which has anything and everything swimming related.  T
heir merchandise is very affordable and shipping is always free for orders over $49. Stingrays Swim Shop gets
a portion of the proceeds back from all purchases made from the website through our store.

Below you will find the documents necessary for swimmer registration and information for parents about how our team works.  There is also information that will help make your swimmer's swim meet experience smooth and fun. These documents can be downloaded and printed. Please read all information and complete the forms included.

These documents are managed in Google Docs.  If you have a Google Docs account, you can save them to your account.  If you don't use Google Docs, then you should be able to go to the file menu (on the page that opens with the document in it) and choose either "download original" or "print pdf."
