About the Project

The State Bar’s Council on Access & Fairness produced two videos (a 9 minute and a 28 minute version—both in closed captioned format) for its community college diversity pipeline initiative. The purpose of the videos is to encourage a career in law by featuring distinguished judges and lawyers from diverse backgrounds who began their educational career at community colleges. Starting in Spring 2013, the videos will be made available to students at the 112 community colleges in California.
