A group of four Chinese library managers are visiting Northeast Chapter. They are in the U.S. as part of the UIUC-CALA IMLS funded librarian exchange program. There are two chances to meet with them, and hear their presentations.
Program Topic: Development of Chinese Libraries: Management, Organization, Issues and Trends
Description: The speakers will address current issues relating to library development in China, including library management, public relations, and issues and trends in Chinese libraries. They will also discuss U.S.-China relations with in the library context.
