Dear All,

CALA/NE Chapter 2010 election has been held from June 11 to 25, 2010. I am very glad to see the high voting rate from our members (65%). Thank you all very much for your participating and support!

Here is the voting profile:

Total Active Member: 77

Total Voting Ballots Sent Out: 77 (online: 70; mail: 7)

Total Voting Ballots Received: 50 (online: 48; mail: 2)

Total Voting Rate: 65%

The voting result is:

Judy Xia (Vice President/President Elect (2010-2012): 50

Tian Xiao Zhang (Secretary 2010-2011): 50

Xue-Ming Bao (Membership 2010-2011): 50

Hung-Yun Chang (Treasurer 2010-2011): 49

All candidates received more than half votes from valid voting ballots. I am pleased announce the result effective on July 1st , 2010 . Congratulations to our new chapter officers!

Therefore, Lina Ding will be our president to work with the newly elected officers for 2010-2011.

It has been my great pleasure serving as the chapter president for the term of 2009-2010. I have received very strong support and great help from our Chapter Board and our members.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you and to gain so many valuable experiences.  Please continue to show your strong support to our new chapter officers!
