Heart Pan


This cake is the perfect cake for any romantic occasion whether it is a bridal shower, an anniversary, or Valentines Day!






Elegant Romance

Materials:
1. Cake - this pan takes two box mixes or two two-layer cakes
2. a batch of frosting - about 3 cups
3. blue food coloring/dye
4. tip #3
5. tip #47
6. small leaf cut-outs
7. small and medium flower cut-outs
8. spatula
9. tin foil


Time;
                                                                To bake - about 35 minutes but check the recipe


To decorate - about 2 hours
Total - about 3 hours


Decorate:
1. Bake and cool cake
2. Prepare cake surface by covering it in tin foil
3. Prepare the frosting - all thin consistency
4. Dye about 2 cups of the frosting light blue
5. Frost the cake in light blue frosting
6. Along the bottom of the cake make a border of circles (or beads) using tip #3 and white frosting
7. With white frosting and tip #47 (flat side up) put a stripe down the middle of the cake
8. Use the cut-outs (or equivalent cookie cutters) to sporadically decorate one half of the cake
9. Use tip #3 and white frosting to outline the shapes. Include connecting vines throughout the cake
10. On the right side of the cake use tip #3 and white frosting to write out the names of the couple or
       the message you want
 
 




 

I Love You

Materials:
1. cake - this pan takes two box mixes or two two-layer cakes
2. a batch of frosting - about 3 cups
3. pink food coloring/dye
4. spatula/knife
5. tip #3
6. tip #47
7. tin foil

Time:
To bake - about 35 minutes but check the recipe
To decorate - about 1 and a half hours
Total - about 2 and a half hours

Decorate:
1. Bake and cool cake
2. Prepare cake surface by covering it in tinfoil
3. Prepare frosting - all thin consistency
4. Dye about 2 and 1/4 cups of frosting pink and leave 3/4 cup white
5. Frost the cake using a spatula and pink frosting
6. Using a spatula place a white heart on top of the pink frosting
7. Use tip #3 and pink frosting to write out "I Love You" inside the white heart
8. Use tip #47 (ruffle side up) and white frosting to make a ruffle border around the white heart.
