I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Tampa. I joined the UT in August 2013. I received my PhD in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in August 2011 and I taught at Colby College from 2011 to 2013 as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics. My research specializes in health economics and political economy.
Currently, I teach Foundational Economics for Managers (graduate-level), Principles of Macroeconomics, and First Year Seminar. In the past, I have taught courses in Public Economics, Game Theory, Econometrics, Statistics, Economic Development, Principles of Micro and Macroeconomics, all as an instructor with sole responsibility.
