Dollhouse Garden Mailbox
I heard... if you write a wish in a teeny letter and leave it in your fairy's mailbox, the wish will come true... This little mailbox is made from Colorado wild Aspen and then hand-rubbed with oil for a durable finish. The mailbox really opens and 3 removable letters are included. The base is decorated with fabric flowers, moss, pebbles and a little bunny (attached). The mailbox is 4 5/8" tall at highest point. The base is approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. The length on the mailbox is 1 3/4".

I've wanted to make a bottle wall ever since I saw one in rural Nevada. I started small to get the hang of it. As soon as I ran out of mortar, there was a cloudburst which left it kind of saggy.

Yard: The Life and Magnificent Jewelry of Raymond C. Yard
Dazzling and celebrity-filled, this anecdote-packed account of Raymond C. Yard and his remarkable jewelry is a classic rags-to-riches tale.

In 1898, Raymond C. Yard began his career in the jewelry business as a door boy at Marcus & Co. It was during this period that the newly affluent American industrial families began to patronize American jewelers like Tiffany & Co. Yard was encouraged by John D. Rockefeller, Jr., to open his own company; Rockefeller recommended the Yard firm to his family and connections, and shortly Yard was creating jewels for the Woolworth, Flagler, DuPont, Harriman, and Vanderbilt families.

The creations of the Yard company were always characterized by the highest-quality gems, intricate settings, timeless style, and a sly sense of whimsy.
