Owning a restaurant takes work. Not only do you have the cost of food and equipment but you also have the cost of the building and labor. The building itself can cost hundreds of thousands depending on the type of restaurant you own. For a small sports concession it is fairly cheap to but or rent a building. From my experience in learning to run a restaurant I've found that you need to have enough people working to keep the place running. You have to have people cleaning, cooking, serving the food, working the register, and getting everyone's order. you may think that the building or the actual food costs the most but that's not true. the main cost you have to deal with is the labor that everyone puts into running the restaurant. You ever wonder why fast food costs so much? well thats the reason. not only do you have the building, food, and labor you also have to make a profit.
