Emerging Topics in Computer System Design is a paper reading group aims at raising the awareness of cutting-edge computer systems research and a student community at UT Austin who loves discussing it.

Discussion topics include but are not limited to:
1. Programmable and specialized accelerators
2. New memory and storage technologies
3. New programming abstractions and paradigms
4. Cross-layer optimizations for security and reliability
5. Mobile and cloud computing.
