              Starting from Fall 2016, all CAE courses will be offered with 3 credits.  Students admitted in Fall 2016 and after will be required to have 36 credits to earn a MS/CAE degree.  A new Program of Study (POS) will be provided soon.  Previously admitted students is not affected and will still be required to have 34 credits to graduate - as long as you have enough 34 CAE and REE (and QUAL 553) credit hours in your POS, you should be fine.  See Dr. Lin or Dr. Shay for questions.

Just to fully clarify, F1 international students (while inside the USA) are allowed to take 1, 3-credit, totally on-line class during a term.  However, if it is their last term, they can not have an on-line class be their only class.   

  • 2009-12-10  QUAL553 Geometric and Surface Texture Tolerance will be changed to 3    credits in Fall 2010. A CAE version of 2-credit special topic will be offered specifically to our students, starting in Spring 2010.  Check with Dr. Shay for details.
