After riding the HIGH NOON HORSE PARADE and spending the day with us at
Cactus Cattle and Cowboys Western Festival at the Rodney Fairgrounds be prepared for a treat.
Later Saturday afternoon (3:00 p.m.-3:30 pm) and Sunday (10:00 am)
for those that have their own horses
there will be an amazing trail ride.
You will be riding right from Mel's Farm and the Trans-Canada Trail
(trail selection depends on weather)
If you like primitive camping and trail riding
plan on staying the weekend.
Just 25 minutes down Talbot Line (#3 Hwy) from
The Rodney Fairgrounds
Your weekend hosts Mel and Sophie Gowan
provide a trail rider's 'Dream Weekend'.
There are a limited number of stalls available.
You do need to call Mel to reserve a stall.
For the true trail rider there is overnight line tying
available for your horses.
A Saturday night camp fire and then on Sunday another ride on the
TRANS CANADA TRAIL.
(again trail selection depends on weather)
A donation to the TRANS CANADA TRAIL
is a very nice way to say thank you for such a wonderful weekend.
