Cabrillo's Permaculture Club is designed to be an educational hub for students interested in developing their skills as ecological gardeners , landscapers and integrated design systems. Our goal is to emphasize and practice environmentally conscious principles of horticulture through group discussion and hands-on learning. We aim to create a networking organization that links local community resources, students, and faculty in order to promote the education of sustainable lifestyles. Latest News: A Permaculture class will be available starting Fall 2012 ! Also, we're continuing the development of the Food Forest plans, with the Keyhole Garden, and are in the process of arranging to move the giant mound currently on site. This will lay the foundation for the main Food Forest. We are providing the floral arrangements for the Community College League Annual Convention in San Jose, CA.
