The Games That Changed the Game: The Evolution of the NFL in Seven Sundays
The Games That Changed the Game: The Evolution of the NFL in Seven Sundays
Professional football in the last half century has been a sport marked by relentless innovation. For fans determined to keep up with the changes that have transformed the game, close examination of the coaching footage is a must. In The Games That Changed the Game, Ron Jaworski—pro football’s #1 game-tape guru—breaks down the film from seven of the most momentous contests of the last fifty years, giving readers a drive-by-drive, play-by-play guide to the evolutionary leaps that define the modern NFL.

From Sid Gillman’s development of the Vertical Stretch, which launched the era of wide-open passing offenses, to Bill Belichick’s daring defensive game plan in Super Bowl XXXVI, which enabled his outgunned squad to upset the heavily favored St. Louis Rams and usher in the New England Patriots dynasty, the most cutting-edge concepts come alive again through the recollections of nearly seventy coaches and players. You’ll never watch NFL football the same way again.

a hard weapon. plus 90 days.
90 days to fruitition. To grow a watermelon like this. 90 days to move out is what our old troll landlady downstairs said after reading my blog where i mentioned in the comments that she is egotistical (which she is). five years of her torturing me with snide french remarks and selfish ways like making my husband eat dinner with her on our anniversary and pay for her electric bill. --seriously just one of hundreds of wretched things that she has done to us. no thought for her granddaughter or son. you see its my MIL who has booted us out of our own house. (my husband inhereted this house from her father, but she is the executor of the will and have threatened us before with it because its her final trump card of control.) "With pleasure!" i told her as she came running and yelling at me in the garage that we had 90 days to get out. "I would love to move out from your thumb and your control over my husband" I said. I went upstairs into my house and closed the door. She followed screaming at me. Benji told her to be quiet in front of amaya and he wisely took amaya downstairs. She pushed me, i shoved back, names were thrown around. I told her to get out of my house. She grabbed me by the wrist (i have black and blue marks) and so I POPPED her across the head with my fist. hard. she picked up my watermelon and threw it at me. I hit her again and she ripped my shirt off me. I picked her up and pusher her to the door and kicked her in the ass and slammed the door shut. i know that violence is not that answer. but now i have burned that bridge regarding her in our lives. our fate is sealed. we go and look at houses tomorrow.
Game "Kabaddi"
Game "Kabaddi"
Games Of My Beautiful P A K I S T A N. Place Taken: Kanjawani, Samundari, Punjab, Pakistan. The origin of Kabaddi can be traced to pre-historic times when man learned how to defend in groups against animals or attack weaker animals individually or in groups for survival and food. Though Kabaddi is primarily an South Asian game, not much is known about its origins. There is, however, concrete evidence that the game is 4,000 years old. Another theory states that the sport is actually inspired by the way Abhimanyu tried to break the Kaurava formation (Chakravyuha) but failed. Kabaddi also is about attacking the opponent formation and returning safely. There is a popular belief that Kabaddi originated in the South Indian State of Tamil Nadu. A folk history of the game tells that it developed from a game of tag between two young boys - the rule of holding one's breath being added later. The game is known by many names, all of Tamil origin: Kabaddi, Sadugudu, Gudugudu, Palinjadugudu and Sadugoodatthi. The word 'Kabaddi' could have originated from the Tamil words 'kai' (hand) and 'pidi' (catch).
