Burrwood Boxers  began in 1982 with a  fawn Boxer named Frank.  Even though Frank never made  it to the show ring, he was well behaved and loved by all.  Our first show prospect was LTB's Rocky Mountain Majik.  Rocky was brindle and  had a  very loving  personality.  He attained 9 points towards his championship.

The next show prospect was Berena's Jumpin Jack Flash.  Jack was fawn and had a great show personality.  After several times out in the show ring, it was decided not to continue his show career.  Jack then went to live in Cleveland with the Olson family.

Still wanting to show, a new brindle boy was purchased.  Fiero's Altair aka Tubbs.  Tubbs was a bit shy but with the help of our friend, Marylou Hatfield, Tubbs managed to get 13 points before he retired from the ring. By now, giving up was not an option.

Marylou helped us find a cute brindle girl named Lacey.  After many years of ups and downs, Lacey became our first champion in 1995.  She produced 2 litters of puppies.  One in 1996 and one in 1998.  Rosie and Caesar were products of those litters.

Still wanting to continue showing,  we purchased Syrr Run's Untouchable. Jake was such fun to show.  I managed to put 5 points on Jake before Marylou finished him in 2003.

We then took a break to finish our teaching careers.  It is now 2006 and we decided to go back into the show ring.  A cute puppy from Canada was purchased in June 2006.  Varsity's Sky Captain aka Dex flew in from Calgary.  Dex finished his championship on December 14, 2007.

Wanting to show just one more time, in 2010 we purchased a fawn male from Diana Armenta and Gayann Jones. His name was DiOr's Custom Built for Burrwood aka Gunner.  Gunner started his show career in 2011 and finished his championship in May of 2012.

Dex and Gunner now enjoy the good life on the couch in sunny Florida.
