Includes a 300mm Liebig condenser, Kjeldahl distilling column with 50mm dia bulb and rubber stoppers, 500ml Bomex boiling flask with 8" iron tripod, 2-foot lab stand/base with a single burette clamp, 500ml graduated Erlenmeyer flask and a 6" square of ceramic-coated wire gauze. You add some 1/4" ID tubing for the Liebig ports. Includes good directions for distilling ethanol and acetic acid. And let's remember that this is for laboratory distilling. Carmo (that's Dr. V to you) took posession of the burninator, surplus-style from the University of Idaho. It all started when she contacted a company that had made this piece of lab equipment in the past, to see if they had any used ones. The Dept. of Viticulture doesn't have quite the same budget as the biological sciences that are involved in petrol industries more directly. They told her they no longer made this model, but suspected the one @ Idaho was about to go into storage since they'd just sent them a new one. They sent it to her for the cost of shipping alone. Since then, she has been trying to repair it. Despite being the author of dozens of scientific papers, Ph.D and fluent speaker of at least 5 languages, she doesn't know how to read a schematic. Sometimes the old tech school eduation comes in handy.
