Takes up the entire kitchen table and couldn't fit al of the ingredients in the shot... turkey will be done in about 4 hours! A while before you begin, set the turkey innards and neck in a sauce pan to simmer slowly. Add 2 or 3 tablespoons of real butter, some bells seasoning and a dash of alspice, cover pot and let slow simmer on very low heat for about an hour. While that is simmering.. cube up 1 loaf of non-bleached white bread, 1/2 loaf of oatmeal bread, chop up some fresh onions & celery, tons of real sweet cream butter (Cabot). You'll need a little garlic, dashes of alspice, broth from slow simmering the turkey innards with butter and Bells Seasoning and a little alspice. then I sprinkle the cubed bread lightly with Bells Turkey Seasoning,,,, an absolute must.. A tart apple or two cut up in small chunks. Add dashes of the spices and the broth (careful... don't let the bread get mushy) and melted butter slowly in stages and toss very gently. I can't tell you how much because I sprinkle, toss and taste until it tastes jussssst right.! Hungry yet?
