Why You Should Join Our Club
 
 
If you or anyone in your family has suffered a Stroke and would like to meet
other Stroke survivors for friendly chat and take part in both indoor and outdoor activities then why not come along and join in one of our monthly
meetings, everyone is welcome.
 
We are based at the Beck Community Centre, The Centre is located on Esthwaite Avenue, Kendal LA9 7NZ, next to the Heron Public House.
We meet on the second and Fourth Monday of each month from 2.15pm to 4.15pm
we have a small charge of £4 which covers the cost of the Hall and Teas &
Coffee and cakes ( Homemade ).
 
We have been running for for just over 18 months and are a friendly bunch
who enjoy getting together and sharing our experiences as well as going out on trips. We are always looking at new ways of fundraising for our group and

What's the Best About Our Club?

I didn't realise how much fun curling was and how competitive everyone was.

 

I really like catching up with my friends in the group for a good chat.

 

Fiona From Lake District Nordic Walking was inspirational, thank you for coming along and introducing us to the world of Nordic Walking.

 

So good having gentle exercise i feel much better afterwards.

 

The Christmas meal was really good , having a nice meal and a good catch up with everyone.

 

Felt so relaxed after my pamper session, cant wait for the next one. Thanks to the girls from Kendal College.

 

Lindeth Fell was great,catching up with everyone, having a classic afternoon Tea and walking in the stunning grounds. Cant wait to go again.
