Mondays, beginning April 10, 6:30 to 9 p.m., with final skills class on Sat. May 20, in Burlingame. You’ll practice what you’ve learned with authentic-looking “victims.” Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training is the best preparation you can take to protect yourself, your family and your community in the aftermath of small emergencies and major disasters. Taught by professional safety trainers from CCFD, this comprehensive course is free to all Burlingame (and Hillsborough and Millbrae) residents. If you miss a session, you can take it in another jurisdiction. These classes fill quickly. For more information, call (650) 558-7610. Pre-registration is required on this page.
