Game programming mooc, is “massive open online course” arranged by a University of Helsinki. It did include a three types of games to create. First was a math game, second was a vintage style textgame while third finally made me to work with graphics. It was a pretty simple platformer, which i did edit pretty much after the "official" version was made. Beside of new skills with Java, it also brought NetBeans in my use. In all ways, i did enjoy this course. Cant wait the next step :)
Well, it was pure fun to learn J2SE basics. I enjoyed the ride from chapter 1 up to chapter 18. Detailed info at ohjelmointikurssit.com (.pdf)
After long pondering, i decided to move out of basic scene for good. I started learning Java at Viope.com. I like the idea of so multiplatform programming language as Java is. Ok, maybe it is not the fastest (or securest at the moment ;D ) but it fits for me like a nose in a head.
Takes few months to go throuh the Java-course, but then, whole new world waits me.
I did dig old folders on my computer and did find my FreeBASIC logo as ASCII. I made it back at 2004, but i think it is neat.
Here is a link to IT.
