What's new?

My research interests lie in the interface between accounting and economics. I seek to address economic issues that are important for regulators, policymakers, investors, and researchers, in settings that are often, but not always, in corporate debt (bond, loan, and lease) markets. In my studies, I draw on a number of novel approaches and perspectives, primarily from the corporate debt markets, to provide insights into causal relations among important constructs in accounting and economics.
My Research Interests:
Real effects of accounting information
Debt pricing and contracting
Economic networks/Information economics
