Why not extend your stay here in Africa, by combining the following package to your Buffalo Tented Safari package. The 3 Countries Wildlife & Waves Safari tour is an 8 day guided holiday package that allows you to see more of South Africa, Mozambique & Swaziland.

Day 1: Kruger National Park (HD)
Clients depart Hazyview by 13h30 (allowing clients to connect on the Johannesburg shuttle if necessary) in an open safari vehicle with a quick stop at the local store, where you can use this opportunity to acquire personal necessities, as there are no shops at our camp site. The area we use, offers excellent game viewing- we can expect to see general game, possibly lion and elephant and maybe even an elusive leopard. The Buffalo Rock Tented Camp is situated in an area of unspoiled natural beauty, and is rich in bird and animal life. On arrival, guests are shown to their tent before meeting for sundowners and dinner. We hope to be in for a noise-filled, exciting evening!

Day 2: Kruger National Park (BR,D)
An early rise accompanied by tea and coffee, before setting out to explore one of Africa’s greatest game reserves. Chances of seeing one or all of the famed ‘Big Five’ are excellent, and of course the smaller plains game species and our wonderful African bird-life is prolific. We spend the remainder of the day exploring the reserve before returning to camp for a late afternoon siesta. Dinner is served around our campfire and opportunities exist to view game by spotlight from the camp site.

Day 3: The Kruger National Park (BR)
Early morning wake up accompanied by tea, coffee and biscuits before proceeding on a morning game drive. After brunch we drive back to Hazyview not without searching for that final memorable game sighting. Back in Hazyview by 12h30 (giving clients time to connect with the Johannesburg shuttle at 12h30 if required) where the Buffalo Rock Tented Safari terminates.

Three countries, eight days, a million experiences. What a superb opportunity for an authentic African taste of everything, from wildlife to beachlife to the good life.

Our tour is conducted in customized 4x4 air-conditioned overland vehicles, equally comfortable for off-road game viewing as distance travelling.

Tracking the Big Five is one of our key goals, and to escalate our chances of success, we’ve chosen South Africa’s top game reserves: Kruger National Park, and Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park (famous for its historic white rhino conservation efforts). We’re also going to cruise among the hippos and crocodiles of the World Heritage Site of Lake St Lucia.

Mozambique is an extraordinary destination, and we scratch way below the surface of Maputo, the capital; we’ve also ensured a day at leisure for sunworshippers, on one of southern Africa’s finest beaches. And for those who enjoy history, we’ve included a visit to what is possibly one of the oldest mines in the world, Ngwenya. At 42 000 BC, who’d argue?

Our Wildlife and Waves Safari, from the Big Five to a beautiful Beach. It’s going to be magic!
