Holiday Giving Project

Hello Buffalo Ridge Families! We are very excited about our 3rd Annual Holiday Giving Project for the staff at BRE. The past years have been a great success and the staff is always so appreciative of our generosity. We put together this “fact sheet” to answer potential questions.

What is the Holiday Giving Project?

The third annual Holiday Giving Project is intended to allow families to conveniently express their appreciation and gratitude to members of the BRE Faculty and Staff. This includes every single person that works in the building - the teachers, who work diligently in the classroom; the cleaning crew, who helps keep our school clean; the food personnel, who manage the lunchroom; the aides, who make sure the kids are safe on the playground; the office staff, who help our children when they are hurt or sick; and anyone else that you feel contributes to the health and education of our children. This is an optional project and you are welcomed to have your child choose an individual gift for their respective teacher.

Instructions will be sent home in the Thursday folder on November 14th. Only one RED envelope per family will be sent. Download another copy of the instructions below, if needed.

Cash donations only please, all contributions (cash-only, no checks) should be submitted in the RED envelopes provided. CASH is the easiest way to handle the division of the money.

RED envelopes can be sent back to school starting November 15th. The last day to send envelopes will be Friday, December 13th.

You decide how much you want to give to any or all staff members at BRE. No contribution is too small. Remember that even $1, when combined with contributions from other families, will make a lovely and generous gift.

Staff members will receive a card of appreciation with the cumulative cash gift. The names of each family contributing will be added to the card for that particular staff member. The dollar amounts will not be noted next to your name.

Please note that Room Parents have NOT collected money for this project.
