Leaving close to a thousand people dead and hundred others missing, Typhoon Pablo (International name Bopha) was the strongest typhoon ever to hit Mindanao. With a wind speed of 160 mph, Pablo uprooted more than a hundred thousand individuals from their homes, cut power lines in Davao Oriental and Compostela Valley, and caused billions of damages in many sectors. Much of the media attention was focused on New Bataan in Compostela Valley, but Pablo other areas in other provinces were just as ravaged as New Bataan.
