Buckingham Friends Meeting
Buckingham Friends Meeting is a vibrant Quaker congregation in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1720, Buckingham Friends Meeting has been worshiping in our present building, which has been designated a National Historic Landmark, since 1768. It has served as a model for Friends meetinghouses throughout the region and the United States.
We invite you to seek the Light of God with us every First Day (Sunday) for Meeting for Worship at 10:30 AM. Worship lasts approximately one hour, and is preceded by singing starting at 10:15. Since even Quaker children find it difficult to sit still, we offer First Day School after 15 minutes of worship. Worship is followed by fellowship and refreshments, and we often have guest speakers and other enrichment programs.
Friends' meetings do not have a pastor but a clerk, who provides administrative leadership to our members. Our co-clerks, Pam Caprio and Bethann Morgan, can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org and would be happy to speak with anyone who has more questions about Buckingham Meeting.
To reach us by telephone (you will get an answering machine), call 215-794-7299 any time.
Our mailing address is Post Office Box 76, Lahaska, Pennsylvania 18931.
