The Beautiful Savior Quilters recently delivered 16 Layettes to the Solve Maternity Home in Bradenton.  Credit goes to Linda Rhodes and her helper Priscilla Collett for their work on this project.  Thanks goes to Thrivent for their help in providing funds to purchase supplies needed for the items in the layette, as well as materials we use in making our other projects.

The Quilters continue to work on nap quilts for the Redlands Christian Migrant School in Palmetto, bed spreads for Hope Family Services in Bradenton, and lap quilts for our own church members who are recovering from illnesses.  The Quilters enjoy working together to make the items we share with those at our church and in our community.

These women meet every Thursday at 10am to make quilts for those in the hospital in need of comfort.   They make them also for the migrant children, who enjoy having them to rest with at the Redlands Migrant Camp.   We are thankful to them for bringing smiles and comfort to many in need, both members and those in our community.

We extend a warm invitation to others in our congregation who would be interested in joining us in our work to come to the Wayman Still building on Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.  Stay the whole time of just as long as you can.  Bring a bag lunch and fellowship with us for the noon meal.  Looking forward to having you join us.
