What is SCRIP? ? ?

Scrip is a weird word that you’ve likely never heard of before, but a long time ago, it was the word for alternative money in the form of a certificate. Nowadays we just call it Scrip Gift Card Fundraising.

  • The gift cards all have a rebate percentage on them, normally between 2% and 16% which is the amount that will go to BSLC

In this program there are hundreds of retailers to choose from, such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Starbucks, Targets, Wawa, Speedway, Shell and about 700 others. They are great for stocking stuffers, gifts to send for Christmas (like the Build-A-Bear one, can be used all over the United States).

·      The gas station ones are refillable, meaning you can add money to the amount already on the card.

·      No need to use your debit or credit card and worry about the machine having a skimmer on it and getting your banking info!

Consider buying some Winn-Dixie ones and use when purchasing your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner ingredients — doesn't cost you a thing and will help our Service Guild help our Church!

See Lydia Paton or Ellan McMorrow for info or call us at 941-227-2074
