About Myself

Obtained B.E in Electronics and Communication in 2002, M.Tech in Networking and Internet Engineering in 2004, both from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Karnataka, India. I completed my Ph.D. thesis entitled “Classification of Large Text Data” from University of Mysore, Karnataka, India in 2011. I am presently working as a Professor in the Department of Information Science & Engineering, JSS Science & Technology University (Formerly SJCE), Mysore. I am a Life Member, INSTICC (12844), IAENG (176251), LMIE, LMCSI (9872), LMISTE (44104) and LMIDES (1117).

My area of interest includes Machine Learning, Text Mining and Computational Intelligence.

     Purpose: To improve contraceptive education in Karnataka, India, by designing a game-like tool that creates and manages the user’s ideal virtual family to identify cultural              norms that influence family planning decisions.

     Grants: $100, 000

       Project was supported by Indian Government under Research Promotion Scheme.

       Project Funds: 3.10 Lakhs (In Rupees)
