A Southern Garden

There are so many varieties of canna lilies to enjoy, thanks to hybridization. Some of the ones I am growing are pictured below. I have tall as well as the small, dwarf sizes. I also have some tropical plants that have many showy colors with small blooms. They multiply and come back year after year and all of them grow with very little trouble or insects.

White Canna Lily

White canna lilies enjoy lots of water and grow from spring until the  first frost of fall or winter. Their beautiful blooms can be enjoyed from June through November. Although this is a smaller variety, cannas can grow up to 5' high.

This canna lily has green foliage and grows to approximately 3'. The blooms are a mauve shade. Although this variety is smaller the blooms are  large. These lilies will brighten up your flower bed.

The Shining Pink canna lily has burgundy foliage and adds a dark contrast to any landscape.

Red Verigated Canna Lily

Auguste Ferrier Red Rhizomes

This is a taller variety grown mostly for the foliage. The broad leaves are variegated with green and maroon colors. They will grow over 6' with plenty of sun and water.
