Starting on this coming Saturday and Sunday, Liam Reinert will be working on his Eagle Project, the refurbishing and repainting of a mailbox to serve as a flag retirement drop point in front of the new Forest Hills Borough Building. On Saturday, the primary work being done will be the removal or treatment of rust on the mailbox,

and on Sunday the plan is to finish rust treatment or to apply the first layer of primer to the outside of the box. On both days, we will be meeting at 45 Kenmore Avenue starting at 10:00 and ending around 3:00. Food and drinks will be provided. It is not necessary to bring any equipment, though work gloves may be desired.

Additionally, we will need a pair of drop cloths for when we apply the primer to the mailbox. If you have any you would be willing to lend to us, we would appreciate it.

Please contact Liam Reinert at ljreinert@gmail.com or call 412-727-6288 (home number) for more information.
