Lake Tiorati / Harriman State Park - Lake Tiorati was formed by clearing swampland in Harriman State Park and constructing a concrete dam to make two ponds into one large lake. Surrounded by meadows and rolling, wooded hills, the park offers excellent swimming, fishing, boating and picnicking. In winter, if conditions allow, the lake is used for ice fishing.

Winnebago Scout Reservation -Situated in the heart of the Copperas Mountains in Rockaway NJ, Winnebago is a hidden Boy Scout treasure. It is only 40 miles from the hustle of New York City and yet so quiet. The reservation encompasses more than 450 acres of woodland for camping, hiking and outdoor adventure. Durham Pond covers 60 acres for swimming, sailing, boating and amazing bass fishing.

Baiting Hollow Scout Camp - Baiting Hollow Scout Camp is owned and operated by the Suffolk County Council, Boy Scouts of America, and has been serving Scouting since 1926. Located on the North Shore of Long Island, the camp has a freshwater lake and access to a beachfront on Long Island Sound. BHSC provides year round camping and programs for Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Venturing Crews and their families. The Camp offers swimming, sailing, boating, water skiing, climbing, shooting sports, crafts, nature studies, Scoutcraft and more.
