Troop 387 is excited to confirm we are going to Summer Camp July 10-16, 2016 at the Indian Nation Council's Hale Scout Reservation in Talihina, OK.

The Troop will be Caravanning as transport to camp. Cost of transportation will be spread across the riders, so the actual transportation cost per person will depend on the total number of scouts and adults we send.

enrolling in Soar to Eagle or Kiamichi Warrior.)

Free Time Merit badge sign-up will occur at camp.

Soaring to Eagle (to assist with Rank Advancement)

Soaring to Eagle is a special program area designed specifically for the new scout. It focuses on teaching basic scout skills via the patrol method. Our goal is to assist scouts in completing requirements for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class ranks. Soaring to Eagle will take up two merit badge classes and will teach requirements from all three ranks simultaneously. Classes may even complete the Totin’ Chip and the Fireman Chit courses if time allows. If not, these can still be earned during the Scouts’ free time.

Kiamichi Warrior (special outdoor adventure program)

The Kiamichi Warrior program at Hale Scout Reservation is a great program for experienced Scouts (age 14-17) to participate in and test their Scouting Skills. Currently the program includes a 14 mile round trip backpack. This will be a rugged experience where the Scouts cook their own food and purify their own water.
