February 2019 Scouting for Food: Over 1000lbs of Food Collected. The Backpack for Kids Pantry at 1st Lutheran was Refilled and the rest Taken to Edmond's Food Bank.

December 13, 2019: Helping Shoreline Holiday Food Baskets with Sorting, Packing and Cleaning up.

November 23, 2019- Packing up Thanksgiving meals at 1st Lutheran for the Community.

Food Lifeline food sorting - November 2013

New picnic area for Vision House-Jacob's Well in Shoreline in July 2013

Holiday tree pick up December and January 2013

Scouts, adults and alumni all helped collect over 500 trees after the holidays this year and raised $ for troop scholarships and the boys individual accounts for camp fees. Working together, they hand-delivered collection envelopes in December and then picked up the trees in January.Special thanks to Heath Landscaping for loaning the troop three large trucks for the day to deliver trees to the Meridian Park tree recycling event sponsored by the City of Shoreline and CleanScapes who chipped hundreds of trees that day.

Scouts collected non-perishable food and donations for Food Lifeline outside of the Richmond Beach QFC.

Russell M. planned a community bicycle rodeo with booths, helmet and bike checks, and an obstacle course in September 2012.

Aaron M. competed his Eagle Scout project in August 2012. Aaron designed and coordinated the construction of a landscaping project at First Lutheran Church of Richmond Beach. It was his responsibility to create the design, solicit building materials, and then organize volunteers to complete the project. . 

The project involved removing grass and bushes that were on a westward facing slope and then adding raised flower beds, large landscaping rocks and plants. 

Aaron thanks the companies that donated to his project: Sky Nursery, Aurora Rents, Home Depot (Bitter Lake), Cal Portland, MJD Distributors (south of Aurora Rents-Shoreline), and Mutual Materials (Mukilteo).

Troop 325 muscle worked on the Eagle Scout project on August 6th ~ Aaron M,  Kelly M, Colin E, Jonathan G, Kyle G, Austin B, Adam B,  Daniel H and Don H.

Holiday tree pick up December/January 2012

The scouts worked with Troop 324 to collect 550 trees after the holidays! Working together, they hand-delivered collection envelopes in December and then picked up more than 550 trees in early January.The biggest tree of the day award went to Steve and Kyle G who collected an 18 foot tree by themselves. Each troop contributed over 250 volunteer hours from both boys and parents.Special thanks to Heath Landscaping for loaning the troop three trucks for the day.The scouts delivered all their trees to the Meridian Park tree recycling event sponsored by the City of Shoreline and CleanScapes. CleanScapes crew chipped hundreds of trees that day.

Lake Ballinger Clean-up 2012 and Lake Washington Clean-up 2011

The troop collected garbage and debris from these local lakes as part of the canoeing merit badge service requirement, and training for the 2008 canoe trip on Ross Lake and 2011 summer 50-miler trip around Lake Chelan. 

Sunset Park Community Event - September 2011 

              Scouts from Boy Scout troop 325 volunteered at the Sunset School property repainting the US Map, pressure-washing and doing site cleanup. Food Lifeline

The scouts routinely volunteer to sort food at Food Lifeline in Shoreline to earn service hours for advancement and/or school credit.

Troop 325 has participated every year in a service project for WTA to help repair and maintain local hiking trails.
