Feb 2019 Turkey Shoot

The Turkey Shoot will be Saturday, February 9th. The Turkey Shoot is an annual trip to the Fin, Fur and Feather Club at 101 Larch Road, Millis, MA. 
Over the course of this trip, Scouts will learn proper gun safety and how to handle firearms as well as target practice on (paper) turkeys. Lunch will be provided, and Scouts will do a service project for the club before we leave. 

If scouts above the age of 13 would like to shoot shotgun they will need to pay an additional $11, it will run from 2:30 to 3:30 so they will be done later in the day. There will be lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs served. The basic cost of the trip with rifle shooting and lunch is $15 or $26 with the Shotgun Shooting.

What to Bring:

  • Work Gloves for stacking firewood
  • Scout Handbook to work on requirements during downtime
  • Playing Cards/Board Games
  • $15 or $26 can be paid by checks made out to Troop 13 Needham.  (Please note we are not using PayPal for this event).
  • A Fin, Fur and Feather Release Form which is located at the bottom of the page as an attached file. Please print out, Fill out, and bring with you to the church.
